Michaela Fedeczko

Playing For: For as long as I can remember. Any opportunity to sing and perform I was there, be it school assemblies/concerts, the playground, in the lounge to The Box/MTV or my bedroom. 

Musical Education: Studied at both Access to Music (now Access Creative) and BIMM (Bristol institute of modern music). Distinctions across both level 3 and level 5 qualifications, specialising in vocals. Undertaken, private, intensive vocal retreats/courses with Vocal Process and Dane Chalfin. Continually learning, furthering my experiences and developing my skill set. I’m a passionate, hardworking singer who takes pride in honing my craft. 

Favourite Genre(s): I am open to all genres and a very versatile singer. Particular specialist areas include soul/Motown/r’n’b/pop, disco/funk, jazz. 

Favourite Musician(s): Aretha Franklin, Lake Street Dive, Chic and Nile Rodgers, Lionel Richie, Sheryl Crow, Gregory Porter.

Favourite Musical Moment: Releasing my debut single and playing my original material live at Glastonbury. Currently also singing backing vocals for Eban Brown (The former lead singer of ‘The Stylistics’).
